We all love the shooting aspect of photography, but what do you do with your image files after the shoot? Most likely you’ve been in that situation where you just can’t find that photo from 10 years ago and you need it badly. Having a structured workflow not only can save you time; it can significantly reduce future headaches!
Join Constance as she demonstrates some of the best practices for your image files after they leave the camera. We will start with importing into Adobe Lightroom Classic and proper file naming techniques in a way that makes more sense than “IMG_2148.JPG”. You will learn how to rate and filter your images based on specific properties as well as how to use Lightroom’s develop module to quickly enhance your images. Constance will offer tips on how to fine tune images using Adobe Photoshop and show how exporting from Lightroom can be used to produce image files for specific purposes such as sharing on Instagram or printing.
You will learn the important considerations in developing a good workflow.
Hands-on work will include making a Lightroom catalogue and practicing how to use this powerful program alongside with Photoshop as a part of your workflow.
Bring to class your laptop computer with Adobe Lightroom Classic and Adobe Photoshop installed, a card reader, and 20 RAW images to work with.
