Strengthen Your Visual Voice: Advancing your Project

With Laurie Klein

Strengthen your Visual Voice

Designed for students who are working on developing and strengthening their style of photography. It will be helpful if the students have been exploring their visual voice or have a project or theme they want to be working on.  In this class we will work on deepening and understanding ones creative process which will advance them to deeply explore their work. Get ready to be challenged and encouraged. Tap into your passion and be inspired to take your next leap of creating a body of work.

  • You will learn how to be objective with your images and projects, to see uniting, dividing, and complementary elements. You will hone your skills at objective image assessment in order to gain clarity on creating passionate imagery.

  • Hands-on work will include project review and individually tailoring assignments that strengthen your creative project. Planning on how proceed with your project and bring it to fruition.

  • Bring to class 15 of your photographic PRINTS from your project or a theme you want to be working on (do not bring images on your computer); 4x6 or larger. Also bring at least 5 images that you feel are problematic in some way, and at least 5 you believe represent your best work. The problematic and best images can be included or in addition to your 15 project prints. Bring ideas, and challenges, for additional contributions to your project.
